“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart,” Psalm 37:4, NIV. God knows what we need. He’s even willing to impart that information to us. We just need to be willing to listen—without doubt and ready to obey. Sometimes what we view as impractical or even ridiculous is exactly what God wants us to see and experience. I was having a difficult time writing a devotional this week. Nothing seemed to inspire me. I didn’t sense God’s leading or purpose.
